RAID: Shadow Legends Platforms
RAID: Shadow Legends is free to play on all official platforms. This page lists only official channels — and explains why anything outside them is a risk you should not take.
Official platforms
The game is officially available in four places. All of them are free:
| Platform | Official link | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Official website | Official website | The publisher’s own site and the hub for official announcements |
| Steam | Steam | Free to play; Windows (published 2024-01-09); Mac and Linux are not offered on Steam |
| App Store | App Store | Free; 4.71★ from 526,912 ratings |
| Google Play | Google Play | Free; Android official store entry |
Plarium Global Ltd publishes the game on every platform above. Anything that asks you to get the game from a source other than these stores is not official.
Playing on PC
On PC, the official ways to play are the Steam version (Windows) and the official website’s own client. The Steam entry is marked Free To Play and has been live since 2024-01-09; Mac and Linux users currently have no official Steam version to install.
Get the game from the official stores only. Any other PC source is a third-party installer and comes with real risks — see below.
Playing on mobile
On mobile, the official entries are the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android), both free. The App Store listing shows 4.71★ from 526,912 ratings — the long-running popularity of the game on mobile.
Play with the same account across platforms when the game supports it, and remember that in-game purchases are optional — the game is free on every official platform.
Why you should avoid third-party installers
Unofficial APK files and third-party installers are not official, are not supported, and are a common source of malware — avoid them entirely. They frequently bundle trackers or keyloggers, and accounts opened through them can be flagged or lost.
The official stores are free anyway. There is no legitimate reason to get the game anywhere else, and every non-official source is a risk without any upside. If a site tells you otherwise, it is trying to sell you something — see the Safety guide.
Installing on school or work networks
School and work networks often block game stores by policy. That is a decision made by the network owner, and the right response is to respect it — get the game from the official stores when you are on a network that permits them.
We do not publish ways to bypass network restrictions, and you should not trust anyone who offers them — circumvention tools are a common vector for the same malware and account theft described above.
