Free Champions

RAID: Shadow Legends Free Champions

Free champions are a normal part of RAID: Shadow Legends. Here are the channels that hand them out, including free Legendary champions from events and collabs.

How to get champions for free

Every free champion in the game comes from one of a few recurring channels:

  • Login rewards — including the 7-day login champion campaigns (see Login Rewards)
  • Events and fusions — see the Events guide
  • Promo codes — see Promo Codes
  • Shards — earned through gameplay, quests and events

None of these require payment. They are the designed free path, and a free-to-play account can collect a full roster over time.

Free Legendary champions

Plarium regularly gives away strong champions for free, often tied to collaborations. Well-known examples include Wukong and Skeletor, and collab campaigns have featured heroes like He-Man, Alice, Ezio, Predator and Xenomorph at various points.

These champions were free during their original events — availability changes.

A free Legendary is usually obtainable through login or event participation, and there is no guarantee any given champion will return. The current availability varies by version and update — check the in-game event tab.

Occasionally Plarium publishes a champion link — a promotional URL that grants a free champion to players who claim it in time. Like codes, these links are time-limited and usually announced through official channels.

Only claim links shared from official sources. Link-shaped URLs from random sites or messages are a common scam vector — see the Safety guide for why.

Plarium also sells champions and champion-related offers in the store. There is no shame in buying if you want to — but be clear-eyed about it: paid offers shorten the grind, they do not unlock content that is otherwise impossible. Everything obtainable for money is also obtainable for free over time.

A practical mindset: decide what your account actually needs before looking at the store. Free champions from login rewards, events and codes cover most roster gaps, and a well-built free team beats a collection of unbuilt premium ones. If you do spend, treat it as a convenience budget — not an investment, and never a requirement for progress.
